About the Author
Matthew Reid was born in South Africa. Later, at age 8, he and his family moved to the United States of America, where he began his attendance at Wakefield. In the fall of 2018, he will be attending the University of Virginia. Owing to his continued interest in science and technology, Elon Musk's achievements caught the interest of Matthew. He chose his topic with the original intent of writing about Tesla alone, with a focus on the topic of self-driving cars. However, after some research, he decided to broaden the topic to include various companies, ideas, and sections on Musk himself.
Matthew researched in depth the various companies owned and funded by Musk as well as the habits and ideals of Musk as a businessman.
